Our client, based near Bromsgrove, a very successful services business, is seeking an Account Manager as part of their ongoing expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting & selling a range of training services to existing & potential clients.
Key duties will include:
Account Management (85%)
Attend account management meetings and record details in CRM
Maintain regular client contact by telephone, email and client visits
Liaise with relevant Team Members to ensure customer service is provided in accordance with their individual SLA’s
Maintain the company’s relationships with our existing clients
Business Development (15%)
Undertake new business prospecting including cold calling both face to face and by telephone
Attend new business meetings and record details in CRM
Create long term business relationships with new clients
Identify new markets and sales opportunities
Deliver sales targets
Ensure adequate preparation is undertaken prior to each face to face meeting or telephone appointment
Utilising pricing within agreed parameters, generate compelling bespoke proposals
Liaising with the Marketing Team, develop marketing strategies that assist the business in achieving its sales objectives
Attend monthly Sales meetings and present KPI’s and pipeline report
Maintain accurate records and update the various systems appropriately, in particular CRM
Ideally, although not essentially, experienced within a similar account management role.

Good general standard of education essential
Essential that the post holder holds a full clean driving license
Technology savvy – CRM, Telephone, PC (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
