An Account Manager is required for a wine distributor in Central London. My client supply their products to a variety of customers including restaurant, bars, retailers & wholesalers.
This Account Manager role is to focus on the Italian wine side of their business selling to on-trade accounts and Italian restaurants.
My client is looking for an Account Manager who is able to build strong relationships with customers by communicating face-to-face. An Account Manager needs to be able to manage large accounts and gain new business with high level of experience in sales.
Ideally you will also be fluent in Italian to native level too – however this is not essential.
Up to £40,000 depending on experience
Bonus – based on hitting targets
20 Days Holidays 8 Days bank holidays
Working Hours: 08:45 – 17:15 – Flexible

The Account Manager – Italian Wines will be responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of premium on trade accounts
Develop new business selling the range of Italian wines
Negotiate with cost
Attending to all company events
Representing the company with passion
Prioritising your workload
Developing account goals and business plan with customers
Conduct regular reviews of business performance, promotion strategies
Working with a team but also independently across London
Communicate sales figures and reports clearly and on time
Must have on trade wine sales experience – essential that you have knowledge of Italian wines
Previous experience in sales / account management and new business selling to on trade/HORECA markets
Flexible with working hours
Must be able to negotiate and close sales
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in Italian is highly desirable but not essential
