We are looking for a dynamic, driven, customer-focused and experienced Advertising Sales Executive to join our expanding team at our offices in Worthing.
As an Advertising Sales Executive you will be speaking to new and existing advertisers throughout the county for the magazine that you are responsible for. You will drive your revenue sales by advising, selling and creating effective print and digital advertising campaigns that work well and drive your customers’ brands.
You have the opportunity of selling a portfolio of multi-media options that include print advertising, digital display advertising, mobile websites, apps, content marketing, e-newsletters and social media. It’s important that you are digitally savvy and understand the “online world” that we live and how it impacts advertising.
Our county life magazines are glossy monthly lifestyle magazines that celebrate all that is great about life in our wonderful counties. At the heart of the magazines are features on villages, towns and cities, society occasions, food & drink events, hotels, restaurants, as well as theatre, drama, ballet, music, festivals and family entertainment.
Although you will be given an established database of clients both new and lapsed, you will also have the scope to source your own leads and bring on new customers that you win and subsequently account manage.
You are a motivated individual with experience working in a fast-paced telephone sales environment, with a thorough understanding of the sales process and a professional, consultative approach.
You are confident picking up the telephone and will enjoy building relationships and communicating the benefits of our market-leading advertising services, and will be used to anticipating and overcoming objections.
You are a charismatic and proactive self-starter who enjoys working on your own initiative, and are outgoing, personable and unwaveringly positive. You are also highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and while we’re not looking for techie geeks, you are a web user and know your Twitter from your Instagram.
Above all else, you are a trustworthy and hardworking individual, passionate about selling and someone who gets a real buzz from hunting for sales and achieving results, whilst thriving under the pressure of a target-driven environment.
