We have a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager based in our new Manchester Depot. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of client accounts and to support and lead our growth in the Plant Hire industry.

We have a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager based in Manchester. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of client accounts and to support and lead our growth in the Plant Hire industry.

Previous experience of delivering growth within the area is preferred but not essential. Ideally you should have gained experience working in a regional sales environment within the hire industry, although candidates with experience in other relevant industries will be considered.

You will be able to build new customer relationships but also drive to succeed and maintain relationships with our established customers. To be successful in this role you must be highly motivated, have excellent organisational skills, and able to manage your time effectively. You will also be expected to be competent in using various software packages.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Implement and execute the sales strategy for new business growth
• Plan your sales activity effectively across all business areas
• Action & deliver joint customer business plans
• Evolve existing customer sales plans
• Provide monthly reports and communication to the management team
• Work intelligently to find opportunities, both in the breadth and depth of our current customer base

KPI’s:
• Number of customer site visits
• Number of orders converted with existing customer accounts
• Number of leads generated
• Number of orders converted
• Hire Turnover in Specific Area
• of New Accounts opened

We offer a highly competitive incentive-based reward package depending on experience, company car, pension scheme and company bonus scheme. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
