We’re looking for a self-motivated experienced salesperson with the drive and determination to achieve competitive sales targets. If you also have experience selling within the health or education sector that would also be advantageous.

The following experience/skills are also an essential requirement for this role:

  • Strong face to face business to business sales experience
  • A proven track record in winning new business
  • Experience of carrying out a business development campaign
  • Full U.K Driving Licence


  • £29,000 – £33,000 plus commission

What are the key duties? 

As an Area Sales Manager you will develop and promote the Company’s hire business to include our full range of Portakabin products and services. The St Albans catchment area covers the corridor between the M1 & A1 from St. Albans up to Luton and across to Letchworth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve order, opportunity & client visit targets
  • Generate new orders from existing, repeat and new clients
  • Undertake business development activities – client visits and telephone campaigns
  • Qualify client requirements and design tailored solutions
  • Prepare quotations & drawings against customer requirements
  • Maximise order values by promoting full turnkey solution
  • Ensure all activities are logged on CRM system
  • Manage St Albans Hire Coordinator
  • Effectively liaise with Project & Service teams to deliver solution
  • Establish an ongoing customer care program
