ESG are working on a unique opportunity to join the start-up resourcing function of a highly established Legal and Compliance Recruitment Consultancy and Search Firm. They are very specialist, boutique with only 30 employees currently and they are looking to hire exceptional Graduates and 2nd Jobbers with 1-2 years of Legal experience to join their Researcher team in Spring of this year.
The business itself was founded in 1999 and specialises in the placement of lawyers within clients across Private Practice, Investment Banking, Financial Services and Commerce & Industry. Their Senior Consultants are amongst some of the most experienced in the industry with practising Legal experience alongside significant years of networking within Recruitment.
They work with Senior Lawyers and Partners across Europe, the US and Asia with international offices in London, Dubai, Sydney, Hong Kong and New York, which gives them a global network of clients and candidates and unrivalled industry knowledge.
Their start-up resourcing company will act as their Graduate Training Academy and allow you to have the most intensive market training before joining the Legal Recruitment business as a Consultant after 12 months. You will receive one-on-one training giving you the tools to succeed in recruitment and also have the chance to start as a Resourcer alongside 4 other Graduates, giving you an instant team of like-minded individuals to work and engage with from day one.
You will be trained on all aspects of marketing mapping, headhunting via LinkedIn and existing candidate databases, research and develop your knowledge of Legal market on both Private Practice and Commerce & Industry.
The level of progression in your career here is up to you – your main role will be to become a Resourcer, Researcher or Consultant working on roles, candidates and clients with the main team of Senior Consultants and then progress to a 360 Recruitment Consultant role after 12 months.
However, they are very focused on the growth and long-term development of the business so if your career path should focus on social media, marketing or other areas of the business then they are open to considering this too! They value diversity of skillsets and are hoping to hire individuals that are focused on learning, developing their skills and interests.
What do you need to join this Graduate Training Academy for Legal Recruitment?
– Graduate degree from a top 50 UK University – ideally Legal focused, however Humanities and Social Sciences degrees are valuable for the Financial Services and Commerce & Industry team
– 1-2 years of commercial work experience, either through internships or jobs during University or post-University experience in Law firms, Banking or Sales roles
– Mature, professional attitude and approach to your career
– High level of emotional intelligence
– Switched-on, articulate and eager to learn
