Salary: £26kpa plus bonus & fantastic benefits including a company car

Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours p/w

The Role

As a Business Development Consultant at the International Institute for Anti-Ageing, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development opportunities within your territory. Two days are never the same in this role, your days will range from holding business meetings with your allocated accounts, hosting events either focused on Skincare, Makeup or Nutrition, delivering taster facial treatments and hosting makeup one to ones / lessons or workshops. This role also involves hosting bespoke in- salon mini training sessions. This is an exciting, fast-paced role which offers real variety, therefore, the successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and enjoy managing a range of responsibilities. You will work closely with your team to ensure your stockists success and in turn the continued development of your region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop existing business within your area through holding events, strategic business meetings and hosting in-salon mini training sessions
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales revenue targets
  • Manage your diary effectively to ensure maximum productivity
  • Seek and identify opportunities to up sell and link-sell in order to develop your territory
  • Build customer loyalty and support based on trust and respect
  • Proactively seek ways to continually improve personal effectiveness
  • Utilise business support tools to drive sales growth and enhance brand equity
  • Leverage relationships internally and externally to influence and negotiate in order to achieve a positive result for your area and the company
  • Work collaboratively as part of team to deliver excellence in customer service

Additional duties

  • To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required
  • Any other jobs around the iiaa that may be deemed necessary

The deal breakers

  • You must have a passion for the beauty industry and beauty products
  • You must have in- depth knowledge of the skin
  • Experienced and confident in Skincare and Makeup sales
  • You will be working with and advising business owners on a daily basis therefore you must have strong business acumen and experience in a business supporting role
  • Driven and motivated to meet targets
  • Full Manual Drivers Licence

Ideally

  • You will ideally be a qualified skincare therapist with a qualification in beauty therapy at level 3

Candidate requirements

  • A positive can do attitude; we believe in having a positive and optimistic attitude about everything we do because it inspires others to have the same
  • Experienced and confident in Skincare and/ or Makeup sales
  • A passion for the beauty industry and beauty products
  • Strong business acumen and experience in a business supporting role
  • At least 4 years of sales experience working in a range of challenging and varied environments
  • Experience in a range of sales techniques including transactional sales, relationship sales and solution sales
  • The ability to build quick and effective rapport with both end users and business owners
  • A flexible character with the ability to adapt to working in a variety of different environments
  • Organised and effective at managing your own time and diary
  • Driven and determined to meet targets
  • Confident in using your own initiative and working independently
  • Confidence in advising salon owners and their teams on how to successfully grow their business
  • A real team player
  • Experience in a field based role is very desirable
