The Opportunity:

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will have an opportunity to establish yourself with a clear progression path and will be responsible for generating new business opportunities.

Through a dedicated lead generation and mutually agreed prospect management strategy, you will have the chance to meet with potential clients, with a focus on building business relationships and work with clients, as part of their IT managed service platform.

You will be responsible for researching client, web and network referrals. Once new clients have engaged, you will drive and understand the client’s needs and discuss thinking around their current IT processes and requirements. With effective gap spotting a managed service can be provided. You should be comfortable offering a range of services such as IT Support, Telephony and Office 365.

The Candidate:

At least two years of B2B sales in your DNA;
An ability to build relationships with a stranger and tenacity to overcome objections is a pre-requisite, as is a focus on quality not quantity;
A pedigree in lead generation and prospecting is essential;
You will be an excellent communicator with an ability to call, connect and interact with new potential clients;
Demonstrating patience and empathy with client’s situations is second nature for you;
Able to talk with business owners, directors and managers is important;
Being a creative problem solver who thrives on challenges is essential;
Comfortable being autonomous or working within a team environment is a prerequisite.
