Business Development Manager

Job Details

We are currently working on behalf of a well-established fashion supplier based in Salford who are looking at expanding on their Sales Team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating sales opportunities with new and key accounts, exploring options with customers and securing sales through excellent rapport building and customer service.

Candidate must have experience with suppliers and experience selling into large high street retailers to apply!


  • Keep an overview and give a steer on short and long-term sales strategies to deliver growth across all territories
  • Focus on developing and optimising current clients
  • Developing new clients and ensuring you receive repeat business
  • Seek out new market opportunities to take the company to new areas
  • Arranging meetings with High Street Retailers and attending these meetings with management
  • Ensuring you know the products well and can sell them at a high standard
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with all Key Accounts
  • Monitor sales volume and margin against target


  • Experience with working for a supplier
  • Experience within Jersey and/or Woven
  • Experienced selling into main retailers
  • Be a relationship builder with proven customer service skills, people management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excited about the fashion world
  • Confident and enthusiastic
  • Results Driven!!
