Business Development Manager (Junior Role)

Safelincs is one of the UK’s leading fire safety companies, providing products and fire safety services to businesses, the public sector and end users. Following years of rapid growth, we are looking for a new staff member to join our Business Development team. Developing our B2B sales requires a person with a passion for excellent customer care and the ability to support our customers’ needs with product and service solutions. You will need to have the ability to build relationships with customers and develop new business contacts.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can…

  • demonstrate excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • manage their own diary, arranging meetings with their customers
  • represent Safelincs at trade shows in a professional manner
  • give product demonstrations to potential customers
  • meet and grow individual turnover targets
  • develop with our business, contributing creative ideas and suggestions

Fitting in with our company culture is as important as your skillset. We look more for the potential and the attitudes of a candidate and less for previous experience in this role as we will give you full and in-depth training.

This full-time role is based at our Alford headquarters and you will be expected to travel approximately 2-3 days per week.

A full, clean driving licence is essential to this role.


Job type: Full time

Hours: When office based, you will be required to work 8 hours per day, between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm. When visiting customers, your hours will vary and there is a requirement for occasional overnight stays.

Wage: Wage is dependent on experience and starts at £23-27k. This role also offers a company car / car allowance.

Company vehicle: You will have the use of a company vehicle whilst travelling for work
