Location: Home Based role – Covering London, South East England and the Midlands
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + Car + 20% bonus

Key Market Segments – Precision Seals, O Rings, Defence, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Automotive, Polymer Seals.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is an external sales role based from home. You will be responsible for a geographical territory covering the London and the South East with occassional trips to the Midlands covering a selected range of customers and specific markets. (A seperate role exists covering North East England)
The primary role of the Business Development Manager – Precision Seals is to identify, pursue and convert profitable new business opportunities, maintain and develop existing business and develop a strong project pipeline within targeted segments. You will be expected to manage customer relationships through the entire business cycle from sale through to cash collection.

* Comprehensive understanding of engineering applications, seals and precision seals
* Strong account management, sales and relationship building skills
* Good numerical skills
* Computer literate with good keyboard skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Flexible and able to work under pressure
* Commercial Awareness
* Able to work individually and as part of a team
* Highly self-motivated
* Preferably Degree level education
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Business Development Manager – Precision Seals, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Account Manager and be living within a commutable distance of London, Stevenage, Cambridge, Watford, Oxford, Northampton or be willing to relocate.
