Job Specification
ROLE: New and Used Car Sales Executive
LOCATION: Basingstoke
SALARY: £20,000 basic, £55,000 OTE + Car + Benefits
HOURS: 5-day week (Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week). 1 in 3 Sundays
Duties:
Make regular contact with new and existing customers to maintain supportive relationships
Offer advice and guidance to existing finance customers as they reach the end of their current contracts
Arrange appointments for customers to discuss options in the showroom
Respond to incoming queries quickly, efficiently and professionally (face-to-face, phone and online)
Remain proactive in seeking new opportunities when enquiry levels are quiet
Guide customers through new and used car purchases, delivering outstanding customer service
Achieve individual and team targets by maximising upsell opportunities (finance, insurance products and accessories)
Maintain strong product knowledge by completing regular training sessions online and at training centres
Follow a fully compliant sales process, adhering to regulations relating to vehicles, finance and insurance
About you:
Main dealer experience is an advantage but not essential (full training provided)
Minimum two years’ experience in a retail sales environment
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to maintain a positive attitude
Articulate and numerate, with a professional presentation
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, confident converting enquiries into sales
Comfortable with new technologies and able to demonstrate features confidently
