This is an exciting growth opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive with a background in logistics/freight forwarding specific to the oil and gas industry to join a nationwide Environmental Services provider. The position will be on a permanent basis, in Bury, Greater Manchester. As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new revenue, negotiating contracts, and establishing organisational sales strategy. The candidate MUST have recent sales or business development experience specific to logistics to be considered.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and generating leads, driving new revenue and growth while nurturing current accounts
- Grow the business by targeting strategic partnership; Lead strategic business development/ sales specific to target market
- Create business plan to determine sales and marketing efforts; effectively present relevant product offerings
- Client presentations
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 to 5 years of sales/business development experience; experience working in logistics/freight forwarding with a focus on oil and gas clients.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Experience with developing a new customer group or geographical area; must have exceptional client interfacing skills
- Book of business/ client contacts is a huge plus
