Our client is a European specialist who are not just competent in its ability to provide high quality logistics, but who also considers each client’s individual requirements. They now have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Coordinator in Heywood, Manchester.
My clients core markets are Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, plus they are general forwarding Europe-wide currently on a co-load basis with a long-term view to additional services as and when the opportunities arise.
We are now looking for an internal sales person who has knowledge of the European groupage market who can make external sales calls from leads provided as well as cold calling new customers. You will initiate own sales leads as well as follow up quotes.
You will manage the companys website and telephone enquiries, negotiate and handle quotations and follow up on quotations, support the telesales and external sales team
Your role will also involve handling sales administration for the sales executives and generally supporting the sales function.
In order to apply for this role, you must have some exposure in sales gained in European road freight with a forward-thinking sales attitude. We would also consider a freight operations candidate with an enthusiastic approach who would like to get into the trailer freight sales arena.
