We are now looking for an Internal Sales Executive to make external sales calls to customers to develop and grow the customer base. As well as building relationships with existing and new customers you will establish their freight needs and update the database, passing these leads to the sales team although you can close business directly as well.
You will take incoming sales and enquiry calls as well as speaking to dormant and lapsed clients.
In order to apply for this role you will have an internal sales background gained from working for a Freight Forwarding, courier, parcels or related logistics background. You must be driven, keen, committed, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Able to source your own leads, new business orientated with a flair for customer service and account management. You will be extremely self-motivated and able to work in a team environment and on your own.

Identify and generate new business to build and develop the clients portfolio of SME customers.
Assist with and execute telesales campaigns to help generate new business. Work with the Commercial and Business Development Team to deliver new business by progressing deals in a timely fashion to their close.
Work with the Sales & Marketing Administrator to provide a link between business functions to ensure information and support is provided to deliver new bookings / quotations.
Assist with feeding Social Media, LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook
Achieve required levels of activity with respect revenue and Web Meetings.
Key Skills & Experience.
Ability to use MS Office/365, in particular Excel, Powerpoint & Word
Confident to deliver web meetings via Webex /Go to Meeting/ Team Viewer or similar.
Ideally, some experience of a CRM system eg: Salesforce / ZOHO
Proven telephony sales and relationship management track record.
Must have experience in proactive cold calling
Previous experience in a B2B telesales role
Successfully exceeded targets within an active sales generating environment.
Ability to think on their feet
