Group Sales Operations Manager

Days Motor Group is one of the largest privately-owned Dealer Groups in the country with long established franchise partnerships throughout South and South West Wales.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our Senior Management team and to contribute to the long-term future success of our organisation.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Exceptional Management skills with a proven track record of producing above average results through team motivations, management and communication.
  • Excellent analytical skills for identifying performance trends.
  • Self-Motivation, energetic and will be focused on results.
  • Whilst a Motor industry background would be a distinct advantage it would not be an essential element for an applicant.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the on-target performance of the groups new, used and commercial vehicle sales departments.
  • Directly responsible for the group’s overall sales operation performance including objective setting and performance.
  • The administration and control of sales operating expenses in accordance with budget expectations.
  • Maximising used vehicle profitability through a disciplined approach to stock management, rotation, and age control.
  • Maximising individual and team performance through effective training and development methods.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with our manufacturer partners.
  • Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director.

Salary & Benefits:

An extremely competitive basic salary with performance related incentives designed to provide, above average on target earnings.
