Job Details

We are looking for a Head of Business Development to help push the companies development plans. You will have a lot of autonomy to identify and pursue new business opportunities across a range of channels. They are very well established in the supermarket sector and supply a number of the UK’s largest multiples. They are keen to ensure the business is as diverse and well spread as possible and that is where you come in! You will need to have a good eye on the market and aim to anticipate future needs and offer opportunities to sell your range. You will have scope to explore both domestic and export opportunities.

The Role:

As the Head of Business Development, you will be leading the drive for new business across the company, working in conjunction with Sales and Buying Directors.

The company will support you with consumer research and analysis to be enable you to identify opportunities in the market.

You will need to engage with a range of potential customers and work out ways you can help them.

The Candidate:

You will need to be a proven self starter with experience of developing relationships with new customers across a selection of channels.

An open minded approach will serve you well as there will be a number of ways to find solutions.

Good interpersonal skills will be essential as you will need to work cross-functionally on a regular basis.
