Location: Glasgow, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire with 30-40% international travel (other locations considered for right candidate)

THE ROLE:  As Industrial Business Development Manager reporting to our General Manager EMEA in this new role, your primary objective will be to grow and exploit our industrial I-Flow and Infinity product ranges across Peak EMEA.  Owning our offering across the region through the entire lifecycle, from sale to delivery/installation and aftercare, you’ll lead on the creation and implementation of strategic business plans to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.  Building, establishing and motivating technical and commercial teams to deliver and execute the strategic plan for growth will require the development of a regional infrastructure, whilst working with third party suppliers and partners.  Other key deliverables include:

  • identifying opportunities and prioritising growth areas
  • developing a strong, sustainable sales pipeline
  • delivering successful profitable projects to budget, specification & on time
  • exceeding our customer expectations every time

THE CANDIDATE: Educated at least to first degree level, fluent in English (additional language(s) beneficial), you have a significant track record in a similar role within a related industry.  Your experience of project-based and capital expenditure-based selling compliments your ability readily to assimilate and convey technical detail.  Commercially astute and able to develop and execute a sustainable strategic plan, in addition to building an infrastructure to support continued growth, you’re strong on analysis and financially astute.  A strong leader able to build and manage a team and lead from the front, and with robust customer-focus, you’re a first-class communicator, influencer and relationship-builder who works collaboratively and shares information to drive success.  Your additional attributes will include:

  • an aptitude for project management
  • a systematic, detail-orientated approach
  • the ability to drive continuous improvement.

The home base may be flexible for the right candidate.
