We are working with one of the largest agri-businesses in the UK who are looking to add an account manager to one of their fastest growing subsidiaries.
This position will see you working closely with the area managers and regional managers of the business in a customer service and account manager role. You will be dealing with the relationship management and customer retention allowing area managers to spend more time on farm.
The day-to-day management of this role will be resolving client issues as quickly as possible whilst making out going calls to clients as directed by area managers, this might include campaign calls, delivery follow ups and recommendations and collecting information from clients for the database.
To be successful in this role you will have the following characteristics:
Communication is key and the ability to relationship build is crucial. This will be on all levels of management and with farmers over the phone in order to achieve the desired results.
Great problem solving, organisational and IT skills are a must have for this role in order to manage your time successfully and also compile reports in desired formats.
A good knowledge of agricultural practises will help you in being credible to farmers over the phone and give you confidence to add challenging questions.
