Job Details

The main purpose of the job is to respond to incoming enquiries in a really friendly and super helpful way and to follow-up on those enquiries to get students to book a placements.

There is no cold calling at all in this role. However my client is looking for people who can confidently close sales and over come objections.

Work at very fast pace as they currently have a huge backlog of enquiries that need to be worked through.

Our clients product is that of a high end product, with a typical trip costing around £2,000. Sales Advisors will typically talk to student themselves and also their parents a lot of the time so our client is looking for someone who is comfortable talking with both sets of people as they are quite different – the students want the fun, exciting information and the parents want reassurance and to feel they are talking with someone very credible.

Most of our clients customers at the moment are from the US hence the working hours: 5:30pm – 02:00am

The practical details are:

  • Ideally 2 people
  • Starting salary £18k – £20k depending on experience
  • 37.5 hours a week, working hours 5:30pm – 2am with a 1 hour break.
  • Newcastle City Centre Location
  • Will be paid a commission on each sale made, if advisors are hitting targets you can expect to take home an additional £1k per month
