VANRATH have partnered with an exciting new technology leader in Belfast, to support the build out of their new internal sales team.
We are seeking a professional Internal Sales Executive to play a fundamental role in generating and converting new business opportunities into successful business wins.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be given a real opportunity to carve out a career in an exciting growing market. The position includes a variety of tasks such as generating leads, nurturing new customers and managing existing customer account.
- Understand customer needs and sell to their requirements
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and dealing with inbound queries
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team
- Carry out analysis of territories, markets, industries, etc.
- Exhibit a demonstrable commitment to building close long-term account relationships with appropriate level of regular customer contact
- Respond to customer requests and be accountable through to closure
- Proactively build pipeline
- Provide accurate forecasting
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven success in software/ technology inside sales
- 2+ years’ experience of selling B2B, with a good understanding of sales processes
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar
- Excellent communicator, oral and written skills
- Ability to forge excellent working relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- A “can-do” attitude
- Educated to Degree in a business/ IT related subject – highly desirable
