At Hayward Miller, no two days are exactly the same. Following ‘The Hayward Miller Way’, this role will predominantly involve making outbound B2B calls and winning sales for us and on behalf of our clients, promoting their products and services.
Equipped with your own office workstation, the position requires you to work accordingly to our procedures and processes, then applying your skills to create new opportunities and ensuring all leads are B.A.N.T. (Budget, Authority, Need & Timeframe) qualified and followed up. You will be polite and professional with all our clients, proactively communicating with them regularly via telephone and email, building up relations.
There will also be some administrative duties which will include, writing client reports, statistics and feedback. Solid IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to display initiative and willingness to assist others is needed. You will also need to effectively write and structure an email strategically to develop opportunities and build relationships. Aim to achieve and overachieve set targets and KPI’s.
Offered with this position will be the occasional opportunity to attend business events or visits to client premises. You will be a part of the Hayward Miller team and will contribute to building and maintaining the sales pipeline for us and our clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary will be based on a scalable rate. You will start on an annual salary of £20,000 with the potential of ending on £28,000 salary in 12 months. Every 3 months a salary review will take place and if all targets and progress measures are achieved a £2,000 increase will be given (4 x 3-month reviews + £2,000 increase each = end salary £28,000). The successful candidate will be expected to work diligently in the pursuit of reaching these achievable targets. Our focus is on winning sales through hard work and commitment.

3 years of sales experience is essential.
Fluent in the English Language.
Good telephone and people skills.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, preferably including Mathematics, English & IT.
Knowledge of working in various sectors is desirable, but not essential.
