Key Account Manager (Software)– Gloucestershire 
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + company car/allowance + commission + company bonus

Our Client, a successful IT software company, is seeking a customer-focused Key Account Manager to develop and build long term relationships with their key clients across the UK. This is a customer-facing position with significant influence. As a Key Account Manager, you will represent the company and interact with major clients, ultimately achieving strategic targets and sales quotas. You must have an attentive approach to addressing clients’ needs, as well as the willingness to acquire in-depth knowledge about the company’s products and services in order to work with the customers on a consultancy basis.

This is a dynamic and progressive company; they are looking for a Key Account Manager who is self-motivated and proactive in order to drive progression within the business, identifying new opportunities to increase sales. Main Responsibilities:
•Proactively managing the key accounts portfolio
•Achieving set strategic account objectives
•Building long term and solid client relationships across each account
•Regularly updating with clients and responding efficiently to any queries
•Effectively handling complaints – suggesting appropriate solutions to meet the clients’ needs
•Communicating necessary information between the client and internal teams as needed
•Identifying and approaching potential new business customers

Skills and Experience required:
•Previous Key or Strategic Account Management experience
•B2B sales experience essential
•Hands-on experience with software systems
•Proven experience of target achievement to set sales performance metrics
•Ability to effectively address and provide solutions to customer requests
•Ability to build long-term business relationships
•Strong negotiation sills
•IT Literate
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•Strong teamworking skills
•Excellent organisation and time management skills
•Tyre industry knowledge ideal but not essential
•Clean driving licence essential with flexibility to travel to client sites

This is a full-time, permanent 8.30am – 5.30pm position. Flexibility for travel is needed
