My client is European based sales company working with a wholesale trade of consumer goods.
Currently the company is expanding its operations globally and is looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record to boost their sales force in the South East Asia & Oceania.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience of consumer goods with a clear understanding how international wholesale works. In addition, he / she will be a hard working individual with the determination to succeed in a competitive environment.
Area Manager for South East Asia & Oceania regions will:
Take a full responsibility for keeping strong relationships with existing customers and negotiating conditions with new customers, including visits to the region approximately 3-4 times per year,
Expanding company‘s contact network in the regions,
Coordinating ongoing orders,
Analyzing and monitoring the market, preparing monthly reports on the market,
Sharing information about the market and products within the company on daily basis.
Candidate must have following:
At least 2 years’ experience in international and a strong track record in achieving success in this field,
Sales experience with consumer (FMCG) goods will be as an advantage,
Excellent spoken English and Mandarin (any other language of Asian countries will be as an advantage),
Experience in working with Navision or similar programs,
Excellent negotiation an influencing skills,
Ability to compile clear, concise reports and forecasts,
Thoroughness and a high level of motivation.
Candidate has to be eligible to work in the U.K.,
Ability to travel to South East Asia and Oceania countries.
