Marketing Manager Events and Exhibitions

The BiP Group are actively recruiting for a Marketing Manager to develop our Events and Exhibitions portfolio.

This role will report into the Events Manager but with responsibility for working across the full Media & Marketing Solutions Directorate.  Over recent years, we have grown our established portfolio to be worth over £2m in annual revenue with strategic plans in place to grow further.  The appointment of the Events Marketing Manager is critical to the delivery our strategic plans.

Our full events calendar includes exhibitions, conferences, training and consultancy.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:-

  • Overall remit for the design, implementation and commercial delivery of marketing campaigns directly aligned to the events and exhibitions calendar
  • Writing creative and engaging content which demonstrates a commercial value
  • Effective community building to maximise delegate attendance
  • Working in partnership with both the Sales and Events teams to drive the revenue and profitability of all events and exhibitions

As the successful candidate you will demonstrate experience of or knowledge in the following:-

  • Strong experience within a B2B marketing background; ideally within the event sector
  • Knowledge of the B2G sector highly desirable
  • Proven track record in developing and executing creative marketing campaigns
  • Strong writing skills and solid understanding of content marketing
  • Understanding of digital marketing
  • Experience in working in a commercial fast-paced, target driven environment
