A rare opportunity has become available working on our Norfolk magazine collection. This portfolio includes EDP Norfolk Magazine and Let’s Talk, as well as other promotional publications produced throughout the year such as food and drink, attractions guides etc. This office-based sales opportunity is based in Norwich.
The position is an ideal stepping stone for those in a telesales role who are wanting a new challenge and the chance to own and develop key accounts as well as win new clients. If your hopes are to eventually progress into an account manager/field sales role we very much hope that this would be the natural progression in this team and could happen in the future.
As you would expect, this sales role will see you selling print and digital advertising campaigns and solutions to existing customers as you will be looking after key accounts. You will also have a vibrant energy and determination to grow your client base by winning new accounts and seeing these grow in success.
You must be comfortable with a consultative approach to selling. A background in media sales is preferable, but more essential is your negotiation skills, confidence, impressive sales presentation and closing techniques that demonstrate you excel in a target-driven environment.
We are looking for the successful candidate to join us at the start of 2018, but will be interviewing before or after Christmas.
- Proven telephone sales experience
- Strong B2B sales background
- Proven track record in selling to SMEs/professional businesses
- Excellent business acumen and able to converse well with a range of clients
- Ideally from an advertising/marketing media background
- Preference to win new business and create own leads
- Working knowledge of print and digital solutions
- Good working knowledge of a range of IT systems/databases
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills

- Basic salary is up to £22k
- Achievable monthly commission structure and on-target earnings of £8,400 per annum
