A leading local publication company is seeking an ambitious, charismatic, Sales Account Manager required to visit small business owners at their work place to discuss and recommend advertising and marketing programs across a portfolio of publications, pitching for new business as well as renewing advertising campaigns for existing customers.

As a Sales Account Manager you must have the following;

  • Generate New Business enquiries as well as manage clients long term
  • Build strong Customer relationships
  • Demonstrate excellent Customer care ongoing.
  • Previous B2B field sales experience is essential

Skills & Experience:

  • Self-driven, dynamic, hungry results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • Focussed on high quality sales and business profit
  • Generating new business via telephone, networking and face to face meetings
  • Ability to build up client base and generate repeat/renewal advertising
  • Well-presented and credible, enjoys meeting owners of small to medium sized businesses
  • Reliable and well organised
  • Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view
  • Able to work alone but also a team player
  • Full clean Driving license essential
  • 3 years Sales Experience
  • Previous Yellow Pages/Newspaper/Radio Sales experience preferred
