Our Client, a leading global communications company is seeking an experienced Media Sales Executive to join their London operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing relationships with media providers and providing the full sales life cycle.
There will be occasional travel involved in this position.
•Working with internal senior management team on product planning and marketing
•Expanding the client’s distribution network with press releases and trade websites through social media and mobile app channels
•Creating and developing relationships with media providers, ensuring the client are the preferred supplier
•Delivering the full life cycle, from targeting the providers, to meeting with and introducing the value proposition
•Liaising with client and internal technical teams to ensure any issues/questions are diverted to the appropriate teams
•Managing partner pipeline and end-to-end technical integration and delivery
•Maintaining and preparing appropriate content license agreements and working with corporate legal counsels to execute legal agreements
•Troubleshooting and maintaining current feeds
•Performing target identification based on market/industry/competitor research
Key skills and experiences:
•University degree or commercial experience in the media sector
•A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within sales/business development
•Basic knowledge of HTML, or an understanding of XML/RSS technologies
•Media industry related experience (ideal)
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner and maintain high consistency
•Ability to multi task and prioritise when necessary
