This opportunity is selling advertising into our Client’s flagship pet magazines and well as client in-house magazines.
As a Media Sales Executive on the team, you will be speaking with companies and agencies about content advertising, not only print advertising but also using their digital products — whatever they feel is the right product for their customer.
Full training is given and top up training is given; full support is also available.
Role and responsibilities
l Make telephone calls to prospects 60 per day
l Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved
l Achieve budgeted campaign rates and specified targets
l Understand and manage personal performance daily
l Attend campaign briefings
l Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our products and services and the objectives of specific campaigns
l Maintain confidentiality
l Act as a representative of the client and represent their interests at all times
l Use company script guidelines appropriately and follow detailed briefs to conduct campaign calls
l Provide feedback and input to script and copy development
l Record details of opportunities and lead notes
You will be reporting into the Sales Director. Hours are 9am-5:30pm.
l Outbound calling or customer service experience
l Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner
l Not be afraid to call new businesses
l Build good rapport and relationships over the phone
l Have fantastic, confident communication skills
l Enjoy working to targets
l Thrive in a fast-paced environment
l Be passionate and enthusiastic in character
