Job Purpose

The role of Business Development Manager is a field based role responsible for the management, relationship development and sales growth of:

* An account set across all products with in the Exertis Portfolio
* A specific brand across a set of accounts
* A specific product range across a set of accounts

This is achieved through the exposure of Exertis products, services and value proposition to identified accounts, in conjunction with the internal sales account managers, and the respective Business Unit Managers.

Key Responsibilities

* To identify all potential outlets for Exertis Mobile and Nokia products and services and record them in an updated database, which should be regularly maintained
* To complete a full profile with each potential and existing customer
* To meet and establish a relationship with each customer, positioning Exertis as a first alternative source as a minimum
* To engage with the customer to maximise:
* Percentage share of existing business through Exertis
* Number and value of fresh profit opportunities for client that would ‘pull through’ Exertis products and services
* To agree and produce a win-win business growth plan with each customer
* To provide accurate and timely reporting
* To produce and update status report and forecasting tool on a weekly basis

Organisational Activities:

* Represent Exertis in an efficient and professional manner at all times
* Maintain visibility and monitor progress of ‘deals’
* Proactively sell the Exertis product and service portfolio
* Provide excellent product knowledge
* Consistently achieve targets
* Provide accurate and timely reporting and MI


* Motivated and self-directed sales professional that can operate within proper guidelines
* Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
* Strong work ethic, professional and positive attitude
* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
* Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.
