Mortgage Sales Team Manager

Job Details

We now have a new opportunity for a Mortgage Sales Team Manager offering up to £50,000. Our client is an established specialist Buy to Let and Residential Lending Business. The role holder will be responsible for the leadership of the sales team to deliver sales objectives through effective sales coaching and leadership. You will lead the campaign management process across the whole sales function ensuring effective planning, execution and outcome delivery, will continually initiate and deliver enhancements to the sales process and telephony strategy as well as ensuring the team have sufficient product knowledge continually provide enhanced broker experiences.

Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Mortgage Sales Team Manager

  • Initiate and deliver enhancements to the sales process to ensure sales objectives are met
  • Develop team members through continuous coaching and training ensuring succession plan in place
  • Develop telephony strategy to ensure calls are dealt with efficiently and sales opportunities maximised
  • Ensure monthly one to ones are undertaken with team and measure against objectives
  • Own the telephony campaign process, ensuring effective planning across functions, management and targeted outcomes met
  • Create team reporting suite including campaign management outcomes and ensure these are delivered in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Regional Account Managers, National and Key Account Sales Manager to maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure sufficient understanding and training is provided to use CRM system
  • Ensure customer management system is updated and accurate and all calls are managed by the team in line with the call framework
  • Feedback key market intelligence and recommend areas for improvement, where appropriate
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with the wider sales and marketing team and new business function
  • Provide professional guidance within area of expertise to support the business
  • Ensure team calls are in line with company quality standards and GDPR requirements are adhered to
  • Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
  • Take responsibility for personal development, identifying and pursuing opportunities where appropriate to maintain and develop expertise. Ensuring continual personal and functional credibility within the business
  • Provide Head of department with ad hoc support as and when required
  • Maintain a good knowledge of TCF, undertake regular TCF training and ensure compliance with the FCA Mortgage Codes of Business, Data Protection and Money Laundering Legislation
  • Sales Management experience in Financial Services along with good leadership and sales coaching skills are essential
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and time management skills
  • Previous use of Management Information is a strong requirement
  • Previous/existing knowledge within the Buy to Let and Residential mortgage industry would be highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of mortgage industry and regulation would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of managing a telephone sales team or experience of a CRM system would be a distinct advantage
