National Fleet Manager

Job Details

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for a National Fleet Manager to further develop our Fleet Sales customer base to enhance the growth of our national accounts portfolio covering the whole of the UK.

You will need to be proactive and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have knowledge of the commercial vehicle sector and previous sales or aftersales experience. The ideal candidate will have either a degree / MBA or Business Studies diploma or equivalent or a HND in engineering would be advantageous.

  • Maintain responsibility for defined National Accounts
  • Identify and develop selling opportunities in order to achieve volume and margin targets
  • Managing the administration process with a clear focus on quality and consistency
  • Application of technical knowledge, skills and experience
  • Timely achievement of results
  • Proactively manage major customer relationships through effective communication
  • Ensure the representation of the Scania brand is optimised through a systemised and consistent approach


  • Experience and knowledge of the commercial vehicle sector
  • Previous experience working in sales / aftersales or within a commercial vehicle financial role
  • Degree / MBA / Business Studies Diploma or equivalent
  • HND in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage
