Print Account Manager

Job Details

Our client are a print marketing business whose background is in buying and managing print services for their customers. With ambitious growth plans they aim to driving up marketing ROI through omni-channel marketing campaigns

The role:

  • Consulting at the product & technical process levels
  • Ownership of clients where Account Director is not required (contracted, lesser need for client meets, or lower spend)
  • Working with the client pre order
  • Securing orders from clients
  • Managing projects in line with requirements (OTIF)
  • On-boarding & maintaining smaller customers where sales are typically less than £100k p.a.
  • Pricing – working with Buying team
  • Overseeing customer satisfaction of ‘owned’ clients
  • Overseeing quality at the customer level
  • Updating sales forecasts, account development plans and client MI reporting (with AD)
  • Client visits where appropriate
  • Working with ADs on larger accounts in a supporting role where the AD is in the lead role
  • Ability to give comprehensive project handover at order stage (when using a PM)
  • Work with clients on swift dispute resolution should they arise
  • Ability to press pass either with client or on clients behalf
  • Sharing ideas and experience with wider team(s)

The successful candidate:

  • Will ideally have experience in the print industry at a similar level
  • Has sound technical knowledge across traded categories (Print / POS / DM)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing projects to budgets and deadlines
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
