Sales Account Manager – Cobham

£38,000 – £45,000 plus commissions and bonuses (£60,000 OTE)

Our industry leading client is looking for a highly experienced Sales Account Manager. who has the desire and ambition to become a rising star and to progress within a fast-growing business. Working under the direct leadership of the Managing Director, and alongside the Service Delivery team the Sales Account Manager will be a pivotal part of the company becoming the first point of call to clients and responsible for delivering an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the first point of contact for our expanding high-profile client base.
  • Ensuring that all clients are aware of exciting and expanding product portfolio and ability to identify further opportunities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of Client Account Management
  • Maintain regular contact (MS Teams and phone) with clients.
  • Generate new upsell and cross opportunities, working alongside our Marketing Manager to develop ongoing communication and sales strategies.
  • Attend meeting onsite when appropriate (often with Managing Director and Head of Operations)
  • Manage an existing client sales pipeline against targets.
  • Updating CRM and Operational software systems with all client conversations, information, and activities
  • Monitoring developments and updates within our industry

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within Sales or Account Management within a B2B environment
  • Previous experience within the Facilities Management sectors.
  • Highly computer literate with experience of modern, web-based software as well as Microsoft Office
  • Confident and experienced in speaking at decision-maker level.
  • Demonstrable evidence of Sales/Account Management successes and track record of performing against targets
  • Good at building and maintaining trusted relationships – a team player
  • Planning and organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Exceptional communications skills – both verbally and written
  • A growth mindset and a clear desire to develop professionally
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and passionate about personal development
  • Energetic with a positive attitude
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet expectations for quick turnaround times
  • Able to work independently and contribute as part of a team
