Education Technology / Digital Learning Industry.

Our client is an established global market leading Education/ Learning Technology business who are positively contributing by effectively educating children (often when traditional educational methods are not possible).
They have created a set of unique Educational Technology / E-Learning products that as of yet have little worldwide competition. Over many years they have developed a reputation for quality and they are also regarded as an employee focussed employer.
This position will see someone join a small friendly and talented Sales team of 3 people. Like the company as a whole, there is a positive empowering atmosphere within the team and they are doing well whilst also having fun. The successful candidate will likely be given circa 500 education establishments/schools to be responsible for from a sales perspective. The work is almost always in-house in Oxford thus its primarily an Inside Sales job, there is thus little need to travel; apart from to a few industry conferences a year which often seem to be in bucket list destinations. On a day to day basis, the role will involve performing a 50% of the time Phone/ Skype/Email Business Development and 50% of the time similarly Account Management role. Our clients’ customers are Educators and Teachers so, – this is not a hard sell environment.
The person we are looking for
I am really keen to speak with people have 2+years’ professional sales experience within the Education Industry (ideally but not necessarily selling Learning Technology/ eLearning / Digital Learning products). I am also keen to speak with candidates who have had the same amount of experience commercially selling Technology / Digital / Creative products who wish to work in the Education industry. It is important that applicants are motivated, empathetic, skilled in solution sales and happy performing an Inside Sales Business Development and Account Management role.
Just as important as skills and experience, our client is looking for someone who is motivated and driven, but who is also a nice human being. We are looking for someone who’s down to earth and fun to work with. Our client has a modern lively environment.
