Sales Administrator

Job Details

In this role you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of sales and administration support. This will include dealing with customers on the phone, sending out quotes, providing information on and selling suitable insurance policies tailored to the customer’s specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dealing with customers on the phone and advising them of suitable insurance policies.
• Completing insurance applications on behalf of customers ensuring all key information is recorded.
• Updating internal systems with sales information.
• Producing all necessary documentation for new insurance policies.
• Maintaining customer records and dealing with policy renewals.
• Handling email and telephone enquires via the website.
• Performing additional business projects upon request of the Account Manager.
• Helping to prepare monthly sales reports / competitor analysis.
• Handling basic enquiries for the Commercial Department as required.
• Flexible in assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Previous office based admin/customer service experience is essential
• Customer focused with the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and to evaluate customer requirements.
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Accurate with a good attention to detail.
• Preference for working in a small-business, fast paced environment
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Adaptable with the ability to learn processes quickly
• Good time keeper, trustworthy, & sensitive when dealing with medical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
