We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service individual to join an upbeat and successful business outside of Tring:

The role:

  • Account management of main clients ensuring that an exception service is delivered at all times to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Receive customer orders by phone and email and process onto ERP system
  • Process orders and provide quotes for new or special items
  • Take the opportunity to upsell any products or services to the client
  • Be pro-active to follow up on queries and quotes and  ensure items have been delivered on time
  • Process any customer returns and liaise with other departments to ensure these are actioned
  • Produce monthly reports on customer orders
  • Deal with any issues efficiently and effectively
  • Any other ad hoc duties/ projects as required

The candidate:

  • Have a solid background in a Customer service position
  • Be customer focused and understand the customer’s needs and identify opportunities
  • Be creative to fulfil customers’ expectations and solve any problems
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Be proficient in common computer systems such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Have great communication skills with customers and colleagues
