Our client is centrally based in Bristol with a number of branches throughout the UK. Operating a specialist business service they are looking for confident individuals with a background in telesales or telemarketing to contact potential business customers with a view to promoting their services.
You must be comfortable speaking with people, be capable of determining whether there is business potential by pre-qualifying calls, establishing rapport and overcoming objections. Following up calls, you will be capable of negotiating fees, closing sales and arranging appointment for field sales staff to visit.
Using search engines to research organisations and writing follow up emails and/or letters means you will be competent in the use of the internet, and Microsoft word Excel and outlook.
This is not a scripted role, so you must be very confident in your ability to strike up conversations and deal with people over the phone. Full training will be given in the company services. If you have attended any formal sales training courses this will be beneficial.
