Job Purpose:

To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join an already successful team within our Scotland Sales organisation. The Sales Executive will be granted immediate responsibility over 250 existing accounts to manage and grow. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your sales career and knowledge of the IT infrastructure market through continued business level conversations with clients, colleagues, and external training from a leading provider. Individuals from this team can accelerate their career into more senior roles where they will be dealing with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect existing accounts, generate interest, qualify, develop, and close new and existing business.
Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory.
Grow sales opportunities generated from marketing activities,
Eventually operate independently and effectively manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification through close.
Provide accurate sales opportunity pipelines on monthly basis.
Work with clients and colleagues to create corporate proposals that include IT service solutions to meet the clients’ requirements.
Maintain clear business understanding of how existing clients are impacted by using Pulsant solutions.
Ensure Pulsant CRM is updated in a timely fashion with information governed by Pulsant sales process.

What are we looking for in you?

Demonstrable experience in a customer focused role
Excellent phone manner and ability to engage with all levels of a customer’s business.
Experience with Microsoft packages, in particular Word, Excel and Power Point.
Active on social media with insight into how social media can be used to develop sales insight.
Previous telemarketing, lead generation or inside sales experience.
Proven ability to get past a gatekeeper and have business driven calls with decision makers
Understanding of the use of CRM in managing an end to end sales process
Desirable
Demonstrated ability to hit productivity targets as defined by manager or business
Experience in the IT / Technology sector. Preferably in telecommunications, colocation, hosting or managed service industry.
Confident phone manner.
Professional, especially when working with clients over the phone.
Excellent customer service skills with strong interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
Excellent communication skills face to face and via telephone and emails. • An enthusiastic, driven, committed and flexible approach to work.
Natural initiative and pro-activeness to their method of working.
Be open to new ideas and have a positive outlook.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
Must be a team player
Ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure.
Keen interest in, and passionate about IT.
Internet and/or business savvy.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs.
