Key Requirements

  • 10 years experience in a Field Sales Role
  • Good Mechanical Aptitude (formal qualifications not necessary)
  • A proven track record in Key Account Management
  • Ability to bring on board and develop national players
  • Identify and open routes to market in new sectors
  • Pull business through to end users via distribution
  • Located Centrally in England
  • Happy to travel extensively across UK & Ireland
  • Full UK Driving License – 3pts maximum
  • Not disqualified from entering USA

£48,000 Basic £65,000 OTE+ Car + Healthcare + Pension

The role will involve managing an existing client base of regional and national accounts selling industrial, health & safety and construction related products. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong connection with the construction sector as well as the ability to manage distributors.

As the product is mechanical in nature, some kind of mechanical aptitude is preferred – this doesn’t mean qualifications but prior sales experience or even the fact you tinker with cars or engines at the weekend.

Due to the parent company’s investment, this role is laden with career progression opportunity with a successful candidate possibly to be developed to General Manager / Director level over the next 5 years. Opportunities like this don’t come up very often.
