A Business Development Manager is required to be based in the South of England – Around the Hampshire, Dorset area. This role will be managing the relationships with existing customers in a range of different technology industries including construction, motorsport, marine, aeronautical, defence, and material handling.
You will be working for a manufacturer of specialist sensors which sells all its products directly to specialist vehicle manufacturers, system integrators, and targeted distributors. Your main focus will be to develop and grow new and existing accounts.
Business Development Role
Manage key relationships within the company
Working directly with customers and Sales Director to build account plans
Providing sales and product information and training to the customer
Demonstrable previous experience of managing and growing key accounts.
Experience of acquiring and developing new commercially valuable, long term customer accounts.
Technical Background preferably Electronics
Experience of using CRM systems to manage and communicate account activity.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
Clean driving license and willingness to travel.
Additional Advantageous Experience:
Experience of managing technically knowledgeable accounts.
Experience of managing a range of European or global accounts.
Experience of working in a medium sized, privately owned business.
