Sales Performance Coach

The purpose of the role is to support sales individuals by identifying the skills and capabilities that are within them and enable them to use them to the best of their ability.
You will be responsible for assisting a group of individuals to achieve key performance indicators (KPI) and helping them improve performance by reviewing sales quality.


  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Developing a consultative relationship with operational management team and other key stakeholders to provide best levels of service and develop trusted relationships
  • Evaluate call quality and other relevant KPIs to identity performance opportunities and trends
  • Understand and able to demonstrate the Utility Alliance sales process end to end
  • Identify skill gaps and able to make recommendations to improve
  • Create action plans for individuals & support individuals to achieve their individual business & personal goal and objectives
  • Follow up on action plans and ensure completion of tasks
  • Motivate individuals & groups of colleagues
  • Understanding of key business drivers
  • Lead coaching conversations
  • Instill the correct sales habits and behaviours
  • Provide consistent and timely feedback
  • Keep up to date with Utility Alliance products and services
  • Keep up to date with internal business processes
  • Keep up to date with coaching standards and professional practices
  • Monitor and track improvements & communicate at all levels to produce reporting
  • Accurately complete all coaching admin and documentation
  • Attend training, coaching and team meetings when necessary
  • Adhere to Company policy, procedure and codes of conduct, ensuring that the teams operate compliantly and adhere to current legislation.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested and which are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job

  • Min two years coaching and mentoring experience
  • Good influencer with strong presentation and coaching skills
  • Must be confident and articulate with a ‘can do’ mentality
  • Credible communicator, able to operate across a range of business functions and levels of seniority
  • Must be able to develop and mentor the teams to help them perform more effectively
  • Success in driving performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivery of classroom and one to one training interventions


  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft office software
  • Energy Industry Knowledge
  • Background in Coaching and understanding of various coaching models
  • Call Quality Assessor, Team Leader or senior telesales background
