This is an exciting opportunity within an expanding and dynamic department for a motivated individual looking to work within the Tour Operation.
As a Shorthaul Sales Executive you will sell package holidays with varying components, including flights, hotels, transfers and cruise, on both a business to business basis and direct to customers.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Creating and selling tailor made travel packages using Hays products & 3rd party operators from sales leads generated via telephone, email and live chat enquiries
- Working towards, and striving to exceed, agreed individual and team sales targets and other KPI’s
- Delivering a first class customer service experience to all customers, obtaining repeat business
- Attending training workshops and supplier visits, including overseas educational visits, in order to continuously develop product knowledge
- Attending consumer shows to promote our in-house product/department. This may be outside of normal working hours
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record
- Excellent communication and customer service experience
- Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets
- Good accuracy and numerical skills
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude
