SMB Business Development Manager

Have you got experience SELLING £20k-£50k + software contracts to SME’s and tier 2 Corporates? If you’ve sold software applications designed to benefit finance departments this is advantageous, but by no means essential! All software solution sales experience will be considered!

Consultative solutions led application sales position, focusing on promoting the company’s Reporting and Analytics Software for ERP & financial systems. The Business Development Manager will be prospecting to a broad range of markets focusing on companies with revenues of up to £700m turnover.

He or she will be supported by a lead generation and qualification internal sales team, combined with regular online marketing campaigns and quarterly events.

The company has a very broad set of fully integrated products, and as a result is able to offer assistance to any size of organisation across multiple sectors including financial services, oil, gas, chemicals, manufacturing and retail.

The company’s software will integrate with any recognised ERP system. Due to its ability to scale and it’s comparative price point, this value based proposition has to date been very successful winning business against its competition.

By automating historic manual processes in the finance department, it’s able to offer solid return on investment, in a relatively short period of time.

The company boasts a positive and supportive culture, and strives to develop staff and promote from within.

The sales management team have all been with the business for at least two years or longer. The company grew by almost 40% last year, and is therefore a face paced, exciting place to work, offering a professional but relaxed, creative culture.

The London office is equipping with at least one pool table, free food, and regular social outings!

In summary, the successful candidate will possess the following experience / background;

  • Essential – A proven track record selling ‘software’ solutions to small to medium sized organisations (the company will consider any type of software solution including but not restricted to –  Finance, ERP, Security, CRM, HR, ERP, Collaboration, E-Commerce or Marketing.
  • Essential –  Track record in consultative solution led sales, comfortable constructing a business case through the sales process.
  • Essential – Someone who wants to work in a fast paced, supportive, positive environment.
  • It’s ideal(but not essential) if you have experience selling software to CFO’s e.g. ERP, Accounting, Financial, Reporting, Analytics, Financial Performance Management, however ambition and solution sales experience is more important.
