This is an exciting new role with a focus on developing and implementing Medical Marketing strategy and developing an engagement strategy primarily targeted towards Consultants in UK Spinal Units.
Bladder and Bowel Care for patients with spinal injury is a key focus area for the company both globally and in the UK, this role has been created to ensure that the client develops a strong clinical agenda to support commercial strategy in this important area.
This role is based in the Peterborough office, however working with global stakeholders will also be a key part of the position to ensure that strategy is translated into actionable plans.
The Spinal Medical Marketing Manager will work across the bladder and bowel business area, with the key objective to increase the penetration of both Intermittent Self-Catheterisation and Trans Anal Irrigation (TAI) in UK Spinal Units
Accountable for the spinal medical marketing strategy and delivery of local clinical evidence
Drive development and implementation of the medical marketing strategy as part of the increased focus on Spinal, and as part of Annual Business Planning.
Work together with the Product Marketing Team to ensure strategy is aligned with the needs of the Continence Care Business Area
Serve as subject matter expert with everything related to the UK spinal landscape
Develop clinical data and medical marketing campaigns for use by the Spinal Business Development Managers as they develop partnerships with Spinal Units
Develop a strong clinical agenda to Convince Consultants that IC and TAI with Peristeen are the gold standard bladder and bowel management treatments for those with spinal cord injuries and change clinical practice
Develop a new Key Opinion Leader strategy, identifying and managing KOLs in line with overall commercial strategy
Work closely with Global Medical Marketing ensuring that the campaigns they develop are suitable for use in the UK, influencing their clinical agenda so that it is aligned with UK strategy, and gaining their support and input into UK-specific clinical initiatives
The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance from Peterborough Head Office.
A qualified Medical Doctor with specialist knowledge in Urology, capable of registration with the General Medical Council (Preferred) Senior Urology/ Spinal service lead nursing experience also considered
Person experience required
Candidates should have solid experience of medical affairs from within Pharma/Medical Devices Strong expertise in the medical sciences, clinical development, medical program design including designing, executing and reporting of clinical trials/audits Has experience of medical writing and publishing clinical work
