Salary: £37,000 to £37’500 per annum + Bonus + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a technical account manager to join our international leading chemical and capital machinery manufacturing and supply business. Applicant are invited from a wide range of backgrounds, e.g. chemical sales, capital machinery sales, technical account manager, chemical dosing, laundry engineering/maintenance/managements, applications sales, chemical dosing, etc, etc.

With a number of sites throughout the UK this company design, manufacture and service their own industrial chemical processing equipment that is supplied into a variety of industries across the Britain. Due to continued growth this company are looking at add a new technical key account manager to their team covering the South East area of the UK; Leicestershire, Befordshire, Surrey and surrounding areas.

In this role you will undertake an extensive training program to ensure you are up to speed with all the equipment they manufacture. This role will initially be based from home but with responsibility to oversee a team of technical representatives based from client’s sites.

With a strong belief and drive for research and development and greener products. The position will be focused around the sale of applications and improved efficiencies of their product range to existing and prospective customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven technical account manager/ applications engineer / sales manager or somebody looking to transist into an account management based position, joining a company offering fantastic training and career progression opportunities.

The Role: 
*Field based around the South Midlands/North London area
*Very customer facing position, managing key accounts and a technical representatives at client’s sites
* Applications based sales to existing customers around products benefits and features.

The Candidate: 
* Experience of technical account management, technical sales or engineering
* IT Literate
* Excellent customer facing skills and committed to a long term career
* Engineering knowledge/experience – Electrical or mechnical desirable but not essential

* Process engineering knowledge would be desirable but again not essential, e.g. water treatment, chemical dosing etc, etc.
