Duties of the role
This will be mostly an office based role, however some travel to meet with clients and attend exhibitions will be expected
Participate in telephone conferences
Preparing technical quotes for laboratory / consultancy work in conjunction with scientific staff
To maximise closed leads across consultancy product areas through efficient quoting and following up
Manage/update the international sales forecast for the consultancy product for agents in co-ordination with the Global Sales Manager.
To maintain the necessary CRM records for the same.
Producing monthly and quarterly sales reports, participate in the monthly sales and marketing review
Providing technical information and advice to customers and other sales staff.
Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements.
This will be predominantly an inbound sales position due to the high level of incoming enquiries the company receive. However the successful applicant shouldn’t be afraid of contacting potential customers either.
Science / Chemistry degree
Impeccable communication skills
The ability to learn new technological processes quickly
Work well within a close and professional team
Previous technical sales / consultancy experience or you may have worked in a technical support function
