Temporary Contract – initially until December 2017 but could go on longer

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and in line with flexi-time system.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary circa: £23,000 to £27,000 per annum

Position Overview

Our client is a global market leading manufacturing business who specialise in a product used throughout a number of sectors including Power, Water & Civils.

Due to their current level of business they are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Coordinator to work within their commercial team.

The role is responsible for responding to Requests for Quotations from a number of clients and providing tender quotations within a timely manner.

The role needs someone who is highly commercially aware with a strong customer focused approach.
Prior experience in a sales/estimating role within a Mechanical Engineering company is preferred.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Knowledge of preparing tenders or estimates within the engineering or manufacturing sector
  • Strong sales administration experience
  • Experience of bidding for and winning major contracts
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office and Acrobat

Working Hours:

Working hours would be 35 hours per week and in line with their flexi-time system. The offices open at 7:30 and closes at 17:00. Core hours are 9:00 until 12:00 and 14:00 until 16:00 Monday to Thursday, with Friday 9:00 until 12:00. No working over the weekend unless by agreement (but very very rare).
