Temp – Perm Customer Engagement Consultant

Our Client, one of the largest advice networks in the UK financial services market, is currently seeking a Customer Engagement Consultant to join their team on a full time, temp – perm basis. The role would involve proactively contacting existing customers to discuss their requirements of protection products/services.
The ideal candidate will be bright, outgoing and self-motivated. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Furthermore, you will possess a drive and enthusiasm for generating interest in protection offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
–    Proactively calling (outbound) customers to ascertain whether they wish to discuss their protection requirements
–    Passing customers effectively to selected third party Advisers where appropriate
–    Responding to any questions or issued raised by Financial Advisers in respect of each referred client
–    Handling inbound calls and ensuring all customer enquiries are dealt with in a positive and timely manner
–    Effective diary management and contact scheduling to ensure that the best customer care is given to all customers
–    Achieving KPIs whilst maintaining excellent quality and customer service
–    Exercising skill and judgement to ascertain client interest
–    Escalating and referring complex queries and or complaints to Supervisor

Skills and experience
–    Maths & English GCSE grade C or above
–    Previous experience within a lead generation role ideal but not essential
–    Proven customer service experience ideally within a call or contact centre environment
–    Knowledge of Financial Services products ideal
–    Excellent IT skills to include knowledge of Microsoft suite – Word, Outlook and Excel
–    Excellent telephone manner essential
–    Fantastic organisational skills
–    Punctual and reliable
–    Flexible with working hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company working at the forefront of their industry. Working hours are Monday – Friday between 10am-7pm and an early finish on a Friday!
