Our client is one of Europe’s leading distribution companies with business interests in three main areas; Mail and Parcels, Logistics and Financial Services. They are an Express parcels carrier with a reputation for innovation in the delivery of small to medium sized parcels and documents. Our client has a network of over 100 locations within the uk and employs over 600 employees.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER whose purpose of position is to retain and develop, through proactive account management the value and profitability of a designated portfolio of 120 – 140 customers, with accounts typically spending between £350 – £3000 per week.
You will be based at the LEICESTER depot covering the LE, CV postcodes and surrounding areas, selling and managing all services including Mail, Express Parcels and International Air and Road.
To apply for you must have previous experience from within the EXPRESS PARCELS industry or related industries such as Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Transport, Logistics, Mail etc. Previous sales and account management experience are essential, as are good communication skills, strong organisational skills, well presented, IT Literate and good administration skills.
£30k basic salary
